MacZaic requires the Macintosh Runtime for Java (MRJ), which is probably already installed on your computer.

PRAM Battery Checker is a program which will inform you if your computer's PRAM battery has died. The PRAM battery is a small battery on the computer's motherboard that allows the computer to remember certain important parameters when the power is turned off such as the current date and time. When the PRAM battery dies it can cause system crashes and strange behavior in your computer and needs to be replaced. This program gives you a simple way to determine when that time has occurred. This is a problem will occur to all Macintosh computers during their lifetimes.

gURLfriend is a utility that will parse your Netscape or Internet Explorer bookmarks files into a format that is more convenient to post on to a web site. Your browser's bookmark file contains much more information than you would expect. Besides the bookmark's name and URL information such as the date the bookmark was last visited, the day it was added to your list and comments you may have added. This extra information almost doubles the size of the bookmarks file and is removed by gURLfriend. The gURLfriend application also searches through your bookmarks list and indexes all the bookmark folder names and creates a table of contents. This table of contents greatly speeds up access to your online bookmarks since you can quickly jump to the folder you are interested in without having to transfer the bookmark information for the URLs you are not interested in.

Keyboard2Serial is a system extension that copies the keys typed on the keyboard to the serial port of your Macintosh. The user can control which serial port is used and the connection parameters of that port. Keyboard2Serial outputs the keystrokes that occur in ANY program even the Finder. Keyboard2Serial works with desktop and PowerBook computers.

MacMultiMeter v1.2 is an AppleScriptable program that allows you to hook up the Radio Shack Digital Multimeter with PC Data Interface. Hook your meter up to the Web using AppleScript and this software.

FilePath2Clipboard is a small utility that puts the full file path of a file into the clipboard when the file is dropped onto this utility. You can then paste that file path where ever you want.

i.e. Macintosh HD:cool stuff:mac.html

I found this useful when writing Tcl programs on the Mac and needed an absolute path to image files and such.

pulseDTR is small utility that pulses the DTR line of the serial port. It will pulse either the modem or printer port. Contains both 68k and PPC versions of the program.

Jupiter's Moons is a package for the Apple Newton which allows you to see the configuration of Jupiter's four largest moons. This is useful as a teaching aid in astronomy, or just for perverse pleasure.
